TAYLOR VETERINARY CLINIC is a modern facility conveniently located between Gananoque and Brockville, Ontario in the beautiful "Leeds and Thousand Islands" township. The clinic is located in a separate modern facility on Bob and Laureen Taylor's country property. This allows continual supervision and care of all hospitalized pets. The clinic is designed to be very warm, welcoming and non-stressful for your pet.
Meet The Team...
Dr. Laureen Taylor
Doc-T grew up in a agricultural environment in Dufferin county. After a career as a chemist in the pharmaceutical industry, Laureen pursued a career in veterinary medicine and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2010. Laureen lives with her husband, Bob, as well as their 5 dogs, 2 cats and 2 horses.
Bob and Laureen have 2 children, Trevor and Brittany. Trevor graduated from Wilfred Laurier University and is now employed as an archaeologist. Brittany is currently attending the University of Guelph with hopes of studying at the Ontario Veterinary College.

Megan Gannon, Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Megan is a recent graduate from the 3 year Veterinary Technology Program at St.Lawrence College. From a young age Megan knew that working with animals was a must. Growing up, Megan owned a cat, Tigger and 2 rottweilers. Megan thoroughly enjoys both large and small animal medicine, and will be pursuing her registered status with the OAVT. Megan felt that joining Taylor Veterinary Clinic was a must, from the friendly environment to the passionate care of animals, it was a perfect fit for her!
Megan will be assisting with all appointments and surgical procedures as well as performing routine diagnostic testing.

Thom Nesbitt
Thom has always loved dogs and got smitten by the conformation world when he bought his first show dog, a Siberian Husky, in 1968. In 1994 Thom began his dog show judging career, and is now licensed as a Canadian Kennel Club all-breed judge. He is a Theologian by training, having graduated at Mcgill University in Montreal. His career was in Health Care as a Palliative Care Counsellor and he was National Executive Director of Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Thom will often be seen assisting with patient care and ensuring your pet has a positive experience while at the clinic!

David Swartwood
David has been involved in the world of purebred dogs for over 35 years and has extensive experience in training dogs for multiple disciplines. David is also very experienced as a canine behaviourist, and will be available for private consultation on any behaviour issue you may have with your pet. Individual obedience training sessions will also be available. David will also be seen "behind the scenes" at the clinic, assisting with hospitalized patients.
